I have been an ISACA member for more than 15 years now, and one of the things I love most about it is that I have a professional—and personal—community regardless of where I go in the world.

This community has made me feel so welcome during my year as ISACA Board Chair. And now it’s time to welcome a new ISACA leader: our new CEO Erik Prusch.

Erik brings a wealth of technology and leadership experience to ISACA. He has served as CEO for large tech organizations, including Outerwall, Lumension, NetMotion Wireless, Clearwire and Borland Software Corporation. He also brings significant board leadership experience, having been a board member for RealNetworks, WASH, Calero Software and Keynote Systems. Previously in his career, Erik served as chief financial officer for a number of public companies, such as Identix and Borland, and for divisions of public companies, such as Gateway Computers and PepsiCo. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche (then Touche Ross). Erik holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.

As the digital trust leader, ISACA has a tremendous opportunity to serve both our individual members and enterprise customers. Erik is the right person to lead ISACA into the future. It is clear that he has a values-driven approach, a steady presence, the right vision and a clear focus to take us forward.

For nearly 55 years, ISACA has helped our members and their enterprises navigate disruptive technologies and ensure a trusted, secure foundation to help them innovate faster. As an experienced digital transformation leader, Erik will help us keep pace with the changes that come ever faster as technology iterates, not in years as it has in the past, but in weeks.

Welcoming a new CEO is a truly exciting moment as board chair! I look forward to Erik joining us at ISACA today, and I know he is looking forward to getting to know our community. Please visit this LinkedIn post and give him a warm ISACA welcome.
