This designation recognizes members who have shown exemplary dedication to advancing ISACA’s purpose through volunteer service, member engagement and other activities.
Garry Barnes, CISA, CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, CDPSE, Australia
Garry consults on governance, security, assurance, and risk. He worked in the finance industry and public sector and served on government advisory committees. He's an accomplished public speaker and accredited trainer for ISACA credentials and ISO27001. He's an active mentor and active in ISACA’s SheLeadsTech and One in Tech since inception.
An active ISACA volunteer since 2003 at international and chapter levels, Garry has served as International Vice President, Treasurer, CISM Committee Chair and Sydney Chapter President. He was awarded the ISACA President’s Award, Sydney Ruby Award, Tony Hayes Award for Oceania Leadership, CISM Award and NSW Premier’s Gold Award.
Ramsés Gallego, CISM, CGEIT, Spain
Ramsés is a security professional with 25 years’ expertise in the Risk Management and Governance areas. He is Chief Technology Officer with OpenText Cybersecurity and holds these professional accreditations: CISM, CGEIT, CISSP, SCPM, CCSK, ITIL, COBIT and Six Sigma Black Belt. He has been awarded 'Best Speaker' in 4 continents and is proud of being Past International VP for ISACA’s Board of Directors and Past President and now Ambassador while still active in the Barcelona Chapter. Ramsés is also Executive VP of the Quantum World Association and teaches as a visiting professor in different universities. He has 21 Marathons on his legs and other crazy adventures.
Hironori Goto, CGEIT, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, ABCP, Japan
He is an Executive IT Partner at Five-I LLC, providing expert consulting services in IT risk management, IT governance, and BCP. His career includes leadership roles in several global companies, including Burroughs, Reuters, Lucent Technologies, Ford Motor Company, and AXA. He has successfully spearheaded numerous IT projects, focusing on areas such as corporate mergers, IT internal control (SOX).
His deep technical expertise and practical experience in BCP. He subsequently played a critical role in managing the IT operations and data center during the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 and 9/11 terrorist attack in 2001.
Debbie Lew, CISA, CRISC, USA
Debbie Lew currently serves as Chief Audit Executive, Kaiser Permanente (KP), one of the largest not-for-profit health plans in the U.S. She provides leadership to the department to execute the right work in partnership with clients and other risk management units to add value to the organization. Prior to KP, she was a Managing Director at EY for the assurance, GRC and healthcare risk practices.
Debbie has held several chapter and global volunteer leadership roles with ISACA including Los Angeles chapter president, the COBIT Steering Committee (first female), CRISC certification task force, the Audit Committee, and a director on the global ISACA board.
Mark Thomas, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, USA
Mark is an internationally known GRC expert with a wide array of expertise in governance, assurance, risk, strategy, cybersecurity, privacy, and digital trust. He routinely speaks at conferences and events around the world and has forged a reputation as a global top speaker and knowledge contributor. Often referred to as the ‘COBIT resource,’ Mark is also the international assessor for the CGEIT, CRISC, and CDPSE certifications. He has been instrumental in the creation, review and launch of several ISACA products and services and is a key contributor to ISACA’s Digital Trust Ecosystem Framework.
Eugene Frank Founders Award
The Eugene Frank Founders Award is named for Eugene M. Frank who was one of the founding members of ISACA (then EDPAA) in 1969. This is the highest recognition bestowed upon a dedicated member. The recipient is selected annually by the ISACA Membership from among the class of Hall of Fame inductees and announced live at the presentation.
